This is Scotrier, Lord of Deer. He'll make appearances in stories I'm working on that take place in a world of spirits and monsters. This is his peaceful form. When he's hungry, his body changes to match his predatory nature. This is a work in progress. I'll be drawing the rest of him sooner or later (I'm having trouble with his legs...)
I really like this fella and how his body is covered in leaves. He does look quite peaceful. Are you going to make his legs look like giraffe legs or are you planning on doing something totally different?

ReplyDeleteIn my sketches, he legs look more like deer legs that have been stretched to giraffe proportions rather than giraffe legs. I don't know if that's a good description... oh well, we'll see, haha
